Just Bananas? Diet That Does Not Appeal…
A banana, or maybe even two, for breakfast doesn’t sound like a bad idea. The complex carbs should keep you ticking over without really needing to eat snacks till lunchtime. Bananas also have some fibre hence the potential to normalize bowel habits. It is not a matter of eating foods that ‘loosen’ you or ‘firm ‘ you when your bowels are erratic it is eating food that provide a fibrous bulk that can help to ‘normalize’ activity in that area, by providing someting for the muscular action of the bowel to get ‘hold of’. This is why apples and bananaa, can help, or other fibre-rich foods.
But overall the concept of shovelling down loads of bananas to lose weight is - well - simply bananas!
Whatever else may be said about losing weight it always boils down to the same thing…if you consume more calories than you burn you’ll put weight on. If you burn more than you consume you’l lose it.
Alongside this basic process if you can eradicate processed foods from your diet and remove anything that contains synthetic chemical constituents you’ll also add some impetus to weight loss - for a variety of reasons to complex to go into here.
And making yor daily diet based around as many great, fresh, local vegetables as possible (especially the leafy greens) is good for you and the environment. Keep meat consumption moderate. Avoid unnecceasrily fatty stuff. Eat plenty of good fresh food, made fresh daily, raw when possible (veges that is - salads, greens etc) dressed with good oils like virgin olive, and use avocados to add more healthy oil that also satisfies for longer…is all good.
Step up your exercise a little (20 minutes about 3 times a week is a good start)…BUT always check with your MD before radically changing your lifestyle and activity patterns if you have any sort of abiding health issue.
You will lose weight and you won’t have to get fed-up with bananas (literally and metaphorically) -
