Diet Mentality - Stop dieting…unless you wanna get fat!

FREE BOOK www.THINTUITION.com. All diets fail in the long run because they have failure built into their design. Diets cannot help but fail because bodies were never meant to engage in repetitive cycles of dramatic weight loss and weight gain. The human body isn’t designed to work like that and, just as importantly, neither is the human mind. Human beings were meant to eat in accordance with their body’s natural wisdom and so remain as slender as animals in the wild. This eating as our natural instincts dictate is the art and skill of thintuition. It is a form of mindfulness applied to eating. You can succeed permanently with it because it is in harmony with your basic nature. If you’re like most dieters, you already know from experience that dieting can work in the short run. That’s what’s so seductive about it. You also know from experience how disappointing it can be in the long run. With each new diet, results seem to come more slowly. And each new weight loss seems to be more short-lived. The pounds come back faster each time you go off a diet and, if your results are typical, you eventually find that you weigh more than you did when you started. It’s not your imagination and it’s not your fault. This predictable failure is built in to both human physiology and human psychology. You are failing because what you are attempting to do is in direct conflict with your basic nature.

So true. Diet is, almost by definition, temporary, hence its effect. You need a whole change in the way you eat to see lasting results.

  2. ifarted7times says:

you nailed it man! i tried dieting before and got nowhere, not to mention diets suck, ive looked at a lot of bodybuilders diets, and never once have i seen anything that looked appetizing, theyre disgusting diets, ive found that eating what i like in somewhat smaller portions and not overthinking how i excercize, but just having fun with it has gotten me much better results with 0% the inconvenience of dieting

  3. kashawn17 says:

  6. bigstock20 says:

Dieting lowers your bf% substantially, its true you will rebound some fat back when you go off your diet, but with the people who gained self control, they can keep that low bf% they achieved as long as they want. The problem is, as evident as it seems (66%Americans are obese) no one has self control

  14. whatrugonnadocrazy says:

not true buddy……..excercise and diet makes u lose wieght. burning more calories than u intake….its not up for debate its facts man.

  15. timabimabear says:

Americans are overweight because just going to the supermarked and try to find something wholesome is like impossible, but here in Sweden it is much easier, Americans use their cars too much and don’t have many sidewalks to take a stroll or bike on… So I say yes we Europeans are thinner but it might be in the fakt that we can be because we do take the bike to work and love talking because there are sidewalks to do that. We buy the right food because we don’t have 100 of fatty ones to choose.

  16. emilyrl says:

    lol!

  17. lyndono72 says:

fat people wouldnt need to diet if theyd never sat on there arses all daY FEEDING THERE ALREADY FAT DOUBLE CHIN FACES THERES NO EXCUSE FOR BEING FAT ITS LAZY JUNK FOOD ADDICTS

  18. omesorg says:

The diet is not the problem. The “you” of which you speak is the problem. If you immediately go back to your previous lifestyle after a diet it’s obvious you will gain weight! It’s for that very reason you decided to diet in the first place. If the food you ate was healthy you wouldn’t need to diet.

My advice is: Don’t diet, eat healthy. At least healthier. Go work out. And quit snacks in between meals, though eat at least 3-4 times a day.

  19. foot2wood says:

Get into Jiu jitsu,Boxing, Running, or Cycling to make the excersise part more fun and easier to stick with by switching it all up from time to time. Dont let it get boring and it will seen easier to stick with. Eat slower smaller portions, giving your brain time to acknowledge tho fact you’ve eaten something. Once you feel ALMOST full QUIT till the next meal(3 to 4 hrs later).

  20. rockshow6 says:

I always figure out how much carbs, fats and proteins my body needs at different times of the day to lose, or maintain weight based on what i want, and its assholes like this guy who make me doubt my intelligence during the time that im losing which is not a good time to be made unsure of your progress. If by diet, he means atkins, body for life, etc etc then yeh theyre are all stupid, but surely if i created based on my needs im in control?

  21. salonsam says:

its true once you diet and then stop you become fatter, just eat what you want and just exercise its so simple you dnt have to cut out anything

  22. Forsure3333 says:

That guy should be on TV!

  23. Forsure3333 says:

@whatrugonnadocrazy Exercise can increase the level of fat-producing hormone cortisol because of the stress exercise brings upon your body. So exercise can cancel out your weight-loss. That’s a fact, man.

  24. Bak3dB3an says:

I can’t believe that people believed this illusion.

It makes sense… if you want to look a certain weight forever than you have to maintain your diet the same, forever.

    Simple logic.
